How Vero handles research

Who we are
Vero Creative is a creative agency in Manhattan, Kansas. Sometimes we run research for the businesses we work with, such as short interviews with their customers, to learn what people need and how to serve them better. If you were invited to take part, the invite came from the business you worked with, and it named us as the researcher.
What we collect
Only what you share in the conversation: your answers and the notes we take. If you agree, we record the call so we don't have to rely on memory. We don't ask for anything sensitive, and we never ask for payment information.
What we use it for
To understand people's experiences and decisions, and to write a report for the business that asked. Your answers are combined with other people's. The report doesn't name you or quote you in a way that identifies you.
What we never do
We never sell your information. We never use your answers to sell you anything, and taking part never leads to a sales call. We never pass your contact details to anyone else.
How long we keep it
Our working notes have names removed and are kept with the project. Recordings, and the list that links names to notes, are stored separately and locked down, and only the research team can open them.
Your choices
Taking part is up to you. You can skip any question, stop at any time, or tell us not to use what you said. Reply to the invite or email us, and we will honor it right away.
You can also ask us to delete your recording. We'll do that where we can. We can't promise it in every case, because a recording may already be part of a finished study or needed for follow-up work on it. If we can't delete it, we'll tell you why, and it stays locked down like everything else.
